The Salt Community is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting communities across Central Texas by empowering individuals towards self-sufficiency. Our core principles are rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. we aim to embody the values of heavenly citizens, reflecting the teachings of Christ's Good News in our actions. With humility, we value all individuals by follow the example set by Jesus. Our mission promotes love, hope, and faith with love being the most paramount of all.

Salt Serves

It may seem challenging to find joy in the midst of struggles. Yet, by embracing the teachings of the Bible, we discover that joy becomes attainable when we grasp the truth of what God has provided for us through His son, Jesus Christ. This joy resides in our salvation.

When faced with trials and tribulations, we can rejoice because we understand that they contribute to building our endurance. Endurance, in turn, fosters the development of a strong character. A robust character bolsters our confident hope in salvation, a hope that will not disappoint. Knowing deeply of God's love for us, as He has bestowed His Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love, we are at peace with God through our faith, thanks to the work of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Since God did not spare His own Son but sacrificed Him for us all, will He not graciously give us everything else? We are aware that God orchestrates all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Through Christ, we are brought into a position of undeserved privilege, standing confidently and joyfully, looking forward to sharing in God's Glory.

Is there anything that can sever us from the love of Christ? Be it trouble, calamity, persecution, hunger, destitution, danger, or the threat of death, nothing can separate us from His love. Jesus Christ died and rose for us, now interceding for us at God's right hand. Neither death nor life, angels nor demons, fears for today nor worries about tomorrow, nor any powers can separate us from the love of God. Indeed, in all these things, we overwhelmingly conquer through Christ. Nothing in all creation can ever separate us from the love of God, revealed in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

We encourage you to place your hope, faith, and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ, irrespective of life's circumstances. Instead of worrying, pray about everything, sharing your needs with God and thanking Him for His blessings. By doing so, you will encounter God's incomprehensible peace, safeguarding your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
